   libopenraw was started in order to provide a really reusable
   library for parsing and decoding raw files. Clearly not what dcraw
   is meant to be (including the refusal from its original author to
   turn it into a library, causing the piece a software to be one of
   the most forked).

Yes, I've dealt with Dave Coffin before, and I've done my share of
merge-ups from his source code...

However, I believe Udi Fuchs may be more willing to work with this.

   It is a lot of work, but I think it is worth it.
