Edmund,
	the ICC profile format is relatively open and flexible.
There's nothing to stop someone from creating a private (but
publicly documented) tag to contain driver configuration information,
if a standard tag is not suitable, and if that is a desirable
technical direction. I see no compelling need to involve the ICC as a
party in this approach.
