Hmm, I also have this same issue with my CM106-based "Audio Advantage
SRM".  It gives me tons of "no such file or directory" upon trying to
initialize audio output, and ends up as input-only.  I have attached the
ouput of "pulseaudio -vv" upon hotplugging the device.

(Interestingly enough, ALSA just plain doesn't offer digital output on
the thing -- and neither does the in-the-box Windows USB-Audio driver.
I'd imagine it needs a workaround similar to that used by the
CM112-based Xonar U1.)

Distro is Ubuntu Karmic; PulseAudio version is 0.9.18; udev version is 147.
