[pulseaudio-discuss] pulseaudio mixer

Hi All,

What audio mixer is used by pulseaudio?
Is pulseaudio maintaining its own software mixer (??) and send one single
mixed stream to the sink or mixing of streams is done at alsa level (using
alsa mixer ? dmix ? )

can we configure the mixer settings?
