I'd probably not start a new thread when you reference things from an
existing thread. It makes things confusing in general, which is bad.

I do not think there is anything to be developed there. The update
exists, as is written here:

together with the link to it and with the steps how to install it and
test it. You can provide feedback on the update, which can speed up (or
stop) push of it to the stable repository.

As a coincidence, the waiting period for the update ended during the
weekend, meaning the updates had been pushed to the stable repositories
and the users can update to it now.

For your other questions, they are not related to the SyncEvolution at
all, from my point of view. You should reach channels for the
respective areas of your interest to get better (or even any) response
to them. Just my opinion, as someone not knowing any answer for them.
