Well, this is a discussion of defaults, so there will always be unhappy
folks. Some use it as multi-seat device, others as port replicator.

Right now, on Linux things like the ThinkPad UltraBase is handled as a
port replicator, so that the extra screen connected to it will extend
the existing monitor, but as the Plugable device is probably more
marketed towards being a multi-seat solution we default to making it a
new seat.

We also allow the user to reassign autoimatic seat assignemnts freely,
in case they are not happy with the defaults... There's currently no
nice UI for that, but there already is a command line tool for that.
