wayland is no better that Xegl ?

wayland is build on KMS and EGL

Xegl doesn't require KMS but if you have KMS that will be fine.

wayland forces apps to use GL but Xegl translates every Xlib call to GL
call.

wayland lost net work transparency, Xegl not.

wayland  is not compatible with X, while Xegl does.

.....

many many many ....

So why don't we improve Xegl rather than renivent the wheel?
