Does the screen at least go black?

There may be a secondary timeout before it goes off, I've forgot
how it works. I'm pretty sure it should go off with the
DRM-backend, but maybe that has regressed then.

It should work with the desktop-shell, but since you are using
ivi-shell, I'm not sure it's implemented.
