I would like to clarify that color transformations and color profiles
exist only as a concept and not something one could observe in action.

"Gamma correct blending", IOW blending with linear light, a.k.a "all my
window shadows look wrong now" does in fact exist if you find the option
marked as "tentative, experimental, WIP" to enable it. ;-)
