Hi Craig!

Unfortunately, you've found the mailing list for an "X-protocol C
Binding", not the "X Cut Buffers" application. Although there are people
on this list with enough experience to explain the intricacies of X
selections, I don't think any of us can tell you where to find the
source code you're looking for.

Best I can do for you is point you at ICCCM section 2, "Peer-to-Peer
Communication by Means of Selections":

Once you've read those you will know more than I do on the subject. :-/
