Common xpdf version for GNOME and KDE

I agree, i was thinking of doing it only for KDE since we have copies of xpdf 
inside KPDF, Koffice, and a the pdf kfile_plugin requires you to have xpdf 
installed that is a bit hilarious thinking the xpdf sources are just two 
folders away :-D 

But having more eyes on that xpdf lib would be a good thing so if has to go 
inside freedesktop i think it can be good. (The more the merrier)

Now the problems:
 - Name?
	Calling it libxpdf would be a bit rude IMHO.

 - What says xpdf author?
	I know the code is GPL so we can do with it what we want, but we should to 
tell him. Maybe the he'll open a CVS/SVN/wathever and let some of us work 
with him.
