You have lost me here. Are you saying that you could switch the
configuration provider in each application? What applications currently
provide switchable configuration providers? Should each application
create its own configuration provider api or use a common configuration
provider api?
Or are you saying that by swapping a different implementation of the
D-conf service, you effectively have provided for a different "backend".
